Joe, who has been living in a hotel room since separating from his wife, begins to think about renting an apartment. Owen uses an old dealership model as his new car, much to his wife's dismay and Terry sets out to find the rude driver who almost ran him down.
Allison Waldman, reviewing the episode for AOLTV, expressed a concern that the show in time could turn into "grumpy old men of a certain age", but believed that the actors would avoid this. She particularly appreciated Romano's character, anticipating a character development towards greater misery and despair.[1]
